The Saudi authorities have agreed to consider Russia's call for the establishment of humanitarian pauses in the air strikes on Yemen, which could be used for the supply of humanitarian aid and evacuation. This was announced today by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Abdullah al-Mole."We share the concern about the humanitarian situation. We need to discuss the mechanism with various parties," he says, according to TASS.

The UN Security Council passed a statement on the situation in Yemen, expressing support for President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and condemning the Shiite rebels of the Ansar Allah Movement. The Security Council confirmed the legitimacy of the incumbent president and urged the sides in the conflict to refrain from any actions.
